Community night this Wednesday
On Wednesday 4 October we will be featuring a talk by Daniel Hessey, a senior meditation teacher in the Shambhala tradition called Mindfulness – Kindness or Claustrophobia?
We often have subtle habits – deeply ingrained – of anxiety and self-aggression, experienced as resistance and claustrophobia both on and off the cushion. Daniel Hessey discusses how applying kindness to your mindfulness practice can have a profound impact on your meditation… and your life.
The night will commence at 6pm with a short meditation followed by the talk and a short discussion.
This event is open to the public so brings your friends and family.
Entry is by recommended donation of $5 for members/concession and $10 for non members.
Hope to see you there.
